Shy Girl

Meet Shy Girl ✨ Shy came to us over two years ago as a semi-feral dog. She had very little contact with people in her previous life, but was a pack dog and so fell right into place in our home at the rescue. She was no trouble at all & great with our dogs, so it was easy to keep her all these years. But she so deserves a family of her very own & we are confident she is ready. ✨

In many ways, Shy igloo is one of the easiest dogs in our program: Housetrained, wonderful with dogs, good with cats. Shy girl loves traveling in the car, snuggling on the couch, and to our surprise was a water baby during a trip to the ocean. She is gentle, walks well on leash and loves to go on trips.

Despite her timidness she has absolutely zero aggression, ever.

Shy Girl is now currently being fostered by Keeli in Davis to prep her for life off the ranch — she even has her own IG page @adopt_a_shygirl ✨

The ideal home would be on a quiet property (she never roams), with dog friends & owners experienced with timid dogs simply to know how to help her continue to gain confidence.

We consider her our family and love her with our whole hearts, but we also know it’s a big beautiful world out there & her meant-to-be is waiting

$250 adoption donation: 38 lbs, spayed, vaccinated, chipped, and utd on monthly preventatives.
